The site

Raqch'i is an Inca site in the Cusco Region of Peru, standing 3,480 metres above sea level along the Vilcanota River, about 110 km from Cuzco. It is best known as the Temple of Wiracocha, and remained in use through the final Inca century until 1533. Once little-visited, Raqch'i has seen tourism climb sharply, from a few hundred visitors in the 1990s to tens of thousands a year.
