The Palace of Nestor is a Mycenaean centre in Greece, traditionally identified with the palace of Homer's king Nestor at sandy Pylos in the Iliad and Odyssey. It is the best-preserved Mycenaean palace yet discovered, a two-storey building with store rooms, workshops, baths, light wells and even a sewage system. Fire destroyed the complex around 1250 BCE; today raised walkways carry visitors over the ruins.
